After-School and Holiday Programmes:

Q: Does my child have to go to the school to be able to come to the after-school programme? A: No, we have children from a number of different primary and intermediate schools attending our after-school and holiday programmes. We can also arrange for your child to be picked up from Hammersley Park School, Our Lady of Fatima or Mairehau Primary School.

Q: If I receive a WINZ subsidy, can I also receive a 'two children from one family' discount? A: Sorry, but no. If you already receive a subsidy, we cannot discount further.

Q: When do your holiday programmes run over the Christmas break? A: The holiday programmes run in the last two weeks of the holidays, before going back to school in February. The first week has programmes running both at Hammersley Park Primary and Glenmoor Primary, while the programmes in the second week run at Glenmoor Primary and Northcote Primary.

Q: What are Extended Services? A: Extended Services was a pilot programme run by the Ministry of Social Development in twelve After-school and holiday programmes nationwide. NHT's Glenmoor programmes were chosen as one of the first of these and is now out of this contract, however it is still able to offer a greater variety of activities and give children opportunities they may not have had without this.p>
